JP & Cara had a wonderfully chic wedding in the heart of downtown Chicago at The Renaissance Hotel. The venue is located right next to the riverwalk and we were able to get so many amazing shots that really featured the skyline and the river. JP & Cara had a pandemic wedding that had to be moved to the following year so they opted for a small vows ceremony that was held at the Lincoln Park Zoo Board walk. Click Here to see that ceremony. All in all I had the opportunity to have THREE photo shoots with them and every single one took place at different popular location in Chicago. The ceremony was super romantic with pastel florals and gold accents. As guests arrived they were served champagne before they took their seats. Their long awaited vows had many giggles and a couple tears by loved ones. The reception dinner room was glowing with warm candle light and as the sun set behind the downtown buildings we caught some of the blue dusk sky that you will notice through the skylight during their first dance.
