This stunning foggy night time surprise proposal took place in the Cupola on the rooftop at LondonHouse Chicago. LondonHouse is known for its very unique architectural space atop the hotel that has views that reach all the way down the Chicago River. I’m honored to be on the preferred vendor list for surprise proposals. Fog was setting in around the building tops that were glowing with their holiday light displays. It was an extremely romantic moment between N & K.

I have an entire blog on how to make your proposal flawless and one of the tips I give to the individual doing the proposing is that if you plan on giving a little speech before you propose, consider doing part of it while you are on your knee so that the photographer can get plenty of shots to deliver. When the nerves set in, things start moving very fast. Once the part where you go down on one knee arrives, sometimes it’s so brief that it almost seems like the knee never hits the ground.
