Pinki & Mehul had feature worthy wedding and Modern Luxury Chicago agreed ! Pinky and Mehul’s original wedding took place during the pandemic and they decided to split their wedding into two parts so that their family in another country wouldn’t have to worry about traveling to Chicago. In total they hosted 3 different celebrations to make sure all their guests felt included. This ceremony in Chicago was a reception only celebration and was held at the stunning recently new venue in Hyde Park.
The History of The Penthouse Hyde Park dates back to its original roots as The Piccadilly Hotel Building built in 1926. In that time period the Hyde Park neighborhood was known as a resort area because of its location next to the lake. Socialites used the top floor ballroom for entertaining and even once had a stage and was presented as The Schoenstadt Theatre. The renovation of this space took 10 years in order to curate it to what it is today. The timeless black and white art decor flair is met with modern sconces that generate a vibe of its own, making it one of the most unique and memorable spaces in Chicago. The Penthouse’s also has a massive rooftop that showcases views of the lake and the skyline. Very few venues in Chicago have both water and skyline views all in one rooftop. I think we can all imagine ourselves enjoying a cocktail hour at golden hour there in the summer.
