Amit & Julia had the most beautiful Indian Fusion Wedding at Cafe Brauer Located in Lincoln Park Zoo. As a result I have created the longest blog Ive ever posted and for the following wonderful reasons. Cafe Brauer Chicago has to be one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the city and I have been waiting very patiently to have the opportunity to photograph a wedding there. The architectural genius of this venue swallows you whole when you enter it. It was built in 1908 and opened as a restaurant. The walls alone are enough to act as wedding decor themselves. Two of the top reasons I love photographing weddings in Chicago is for its architecture and for its deiverse culture, this wedding embodied both. I was so lucky to experience Cafe Brauer at its most beautifuly decorated state and within a fusion wedding of both Julia & Amit’s different cultures. I have a extreme admiration for the asethetics of Indian weddings because of their bold pallete and detail heavy tradtional ceremonies and I strive to communicate that in my work. I was so lucky to have been chosen by Amit & Julia to witness their love coming together as one. They have a very calm and steady love that was very evident in the moments when Julia locked eyes with Amit and he smiled back from ear to ear. In those moments you knew they were meant for each other. Its clear to me that their strong and loyal love will carry them into many years in their next chapter.
