Mary Kathleen & Graig were married at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Chicago on June 16, 2017. The weather was perfect and so was the day. The day began with Mary Kathleen getting ready with her family where she had a last minute practice of her father daughter dance with her Dad and her Mother and Grandmother helped Mary Kathleen put on her dress. They wrapped up with a champagne toast on Michigan Avenue before starting Family Formal photos. Meanwhile Graig was also getting ready with his family in Old Town. Mary Kathleen and Graig met while participating in a social sports league in Chicago and the rest is history. Teh couple resides in Old Town and have made memories together there as a couple so it was a place we wanted to get some photos for sure and why not encorporate Mary Kathleen’s fun red scooter! We also made a stop at the Kinzie Street Bridge and at the shouth shore of Lake Michigan where you can still see a sliver of skyline. St Joe’s church on Orleans St in River North is stunning and provided several gorgeous photos of the newly weds. The Reception followed at The Bridgeport Art Center where cocktails began in the freight elevator ( as show below, and also one of my favorite details of the venue ) on the way up to the Skyline Loft. The dinner room was covered in gold and orange flowers and accents. Check out those excort cards designed by the Bride herself. The very traditional service was followed by a modern loft reception and every detail was beautiful. Congrats to the couple as I would do it all over with them again in a instant!
