Matt & Carolyn | She Said Yes !
Chicago may be the best place on earth to propose to your fiance during the holidays. There are so many beautifully decorated locations to serve as the backdrop to the moment when you ask your partner. Some of my top favorite locations are The Wrigley Building, Millennium Park Skate Rink, London House rooftop and The Historic Chicago Avenue Pumping Station. If you are just visiting Chicago as a tourist I also recommend checking out Union Station and The ChristkindlMarket downtown.
This particular proposal was at The Historic Chicago Ave Pumping Station located in the Old Chicago Water Tower District landmark district. This adorable little nook has an entrance on Michigan Avenue just feet away from all the holiday shopping crowds. Carolyn & Matt had just gotten a cup of coffee and stopped through where Matt stopped in front of the Christmas Tree and asked Carolyn to marry him.
