Braxton & Abbey’s Louisville, IL Fall Engagement
Braxton and Abbey invited me to their Louisville IL home located in southern Illinois for their engagement session. They love the countryside and it is an important part of their careers as well as their everyday life, so naturally they wanted the landscape to reflect that. It was a beautiful fall day with perfect weather and a pretty sunset. They showed me around their charming town of 1,128 people where ‘everybody knows your name’. They brought their lab Dierks and we cruised the gravel roads. These two will be hosting a barn wedding in September 2017 and I can’t wait to photograph the day. I photographed her sister Morgan’s wedding this past August and I loved every minute of the day with her wonderful family. One of the things I love most about my job is that my photography takes me places that I would have never been to had I not been invited to visit. I crave new and exciting landscapes and the countryside is the polar opposite of the big city of Chicago I love, but the country has many beautiful assets to offer. Cheers to a little contrast in my work!
